On Sunday, June 6th, the first annual Flicks International Student Film Festival will take place in Groningen, the Netherlands. This festival, organized by students, promises to be a highlight for film buffs and filmmakers in Groningen!

Starting at 3.30pm, the festival will showcase short films, made by students from all over the globe. Besides it’s focus on short films, Flicks will also host a wide variety of lectures, music and the opportunity to meet filmmakers. And the day will be finished with a smashing afterparty!

Flicks wants to provide film students and aspiring filmmakers the opportunity to have their work shown to a diverse audience. An audience that wants to be indulged by a great variety of short films. Wouldn’t it be a great opportunity to see the early work of the great filmmakers of tomorrow?
